9 weeks and the 4th of July

Hello! We hope you had a wonderful fourth of July with your family and friends!

The twins are 9 weeks old now! Hooray! 

We went to the pediatrician last Friday and they are doing well. They gained another pound each! Landen is moving up in clothes :) He's now in 0-3 months, it was exciting to pick him up a few new things since I haven't gotten to shop for them before. Caroline is mostly still in newborn but can wear some 0-3. 

They had their big round of shots which they really didn't enjoy....so we went shopping afterwards for new swim suits since the Dr. said it was okay to put them in the pool!  After a little retail therapy, they were feeling a little better, but still not so great.  So there was a lot of cuddle time that afternoon and evening :-)   We are supposed to go back at four months but I'm thinking I will take them in at three for a weight check, just to make sure they are still gaining.

The kiddos have been very busy doing lots of tummy time...Landen doesn't prefer it so he has become a roller already.  I can't get him to stay on his tummy but for two seconds. It's fun to watch him roll, he's doing great!   Caroline is doing well with tummy time and is working on strengthening those neck muscles...she excels at doing "superman" on the floor :-)

We spent the fourth over at my parents, the kiddos got to swim for their second time.  They enjoyed sleeping through it this time lol.  The first time they swam on this past Monday, they were wide awake! They were so worn out they slept through the whole night! They did the same last night for us too! It was FABULOUS!!
